Practise surgical techniques on a suitable model.
Accessing the vascular network
The described exercises include catheter introduction at the groin, retrograde or antegrade puncture, ipsilateral or crossover access, followed by navigation through the vascular system down to the ankle.
Practising thrombus aspiration
A thrombus can be placed in a stenosed insert or introduced into the network. The inserts are replaceable to prepare different exercises.
An environment suitable for a hybrid operating room
The support reproduces the position of the lower-limb vascular axes on an operating table. The model can be used in a hybrid operating room and connected to a circulating flow to simulate blood flow. Adaptations for other vascular conditions can be considered on request.
