PODO-Train is a podiatry procedure simulator. Its reusable hallux support accommodates a removable nail insert on which care procedures are practised. An articulated arm allows adjustment of the working position; the simulator is available for the right or left foot and with three levels of skin firmness.

Care procedure training

Practise a care procedure in an educational setting.

Six types of inserts

Three inserts target routine care: a long nail for trimming, a thick nail for reduction with a burr and a short nail for nail reconstruction. Three others represent nail deformities with bilateral ingrowing nails: folded, involuted and tile-shaped nails.

Practise with podiatry instruments

The simulator allows bilateral removal of nail spicules using standard instruments: straight- or angled-jaw nippers, scalpel blades, blunt or cutting gouges and Manet chisels. The resin nail plate can be worked with a micromotor or turbine.

Build your training environment

The inserts are available with soft, medium or firm skin. The hallux support and articulated arm are reusable. Other conditions can be considered on request.
