{"id":14698,"date":"2022-01-03T10:32:05","date_gmt":"2022-01-03T09:32:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bone3d.com\/?post_type=actualite&#038;p=14698"},"modified":"2022-07-29T16:14:45","modified_gmt":"2022-07-29T14:14:45","slug":"neurosurgery-training-with-3d-printed-simulators-november-2019","status":"publish","type":"actualite","link":"https:\/\/bone3d.com\/en\/news\/neurosurgery-training-with-3d-printed-simulators-november-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Neurosurgery training with 3D printed simulators &#8211; November 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Surgical simulation is THE solution for medical education.<br>We have provided NEURO-Train simulators for a neurosurgery course given by Professor Philippe Decq at the Beaujon Hospital (Clichy), including: an anatomical simulation environment in the form of a human skull and an articulated arm which makes it very ergonomic and comfortable to use, as well as a multi-material cartridge representing the different layers of the human skull (skin, dura mater, cortical and spongy bone), up to the brain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The participants were able to practice performing ventricular punctures, intracranial sensors and many other neurosurgical procedures.
